Wedding Cake FAQ
How far in advance should we inquire?
We recommend reaching out as early as possible, as wedding dates book quickly and availability is limited. The most common time-frame to book is 6-12 months in advance.
How much does a wedding cake cost?
Wedding cake pricing varies based on guest count, design complexity, and details. A general starting range is outlined on our Pricing page. Final pricing is provided after reviewing your inquiry and discussing your design details.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes. Take-home sample boxes are available to order here. We advise confirming availability prior to ordering your sample box.
Can you recreate a cake from a photo?
Inspiration images are welcome. While we do not replicate designs exactly, because cake is art and every artist is different, reference images help us understand your style and create a cake that reflects your vision while providing a cake that is uniquely yours.
Do you deliver and set up wedding cakes?
Yes. We deliver and set up for a fee of $60+$1/km. Delivery is recommended for tiered cakes. Delivery is subject to availability, so booking ahead of time is recommended.
Can I have fresh flowers on my cake?
Yes. Fresh floral elements can be provided by us via our partnered florist based on your inspiration photos - but an exact match can not be guaranteed. Some wedding florists are able to provide fresh flowers for the cake. Contact your florist to see if they provide this service. Flower placement at the venue is included in our delivery and setup fee, as long as the flowers are prepped and ready for placement before our arrival.
Do you rent wedding cake stands?
Yes, cake stand rentals are available for a fee, subject to availability. Contact us to view our collection.
What flavors are available?
You can choose any of our hand-crafted flavors for your wedding cake. Take-home sample boxes contain six pre-selected flavors and are updated seasonally. You don't need to limit yourself to one flavor - choose one flavor per tier of cake, or per dozen cupcakes.
Do you offer cupcakes or dessert tables?
Yes. We are happy to provide matching cupcakes or small desserts with your cake. A full list of treat options are available on our pricing and services page.
Can I reserve the top tier for my first anniversary?
Many couples choose to reserve the top tier for their first anniversary. Let us know if you would like to do this so we can calculate this in to your cake size, and provide freezing instructions. If you don't want to save the top tier, we offer a mini recreation of your wedding cake on your first anniversary for a flat fee.
